First Lutheran is a body of believers who have been called out from the world, following the teachings of Martin Luther.  We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.  We accept the Apostles, Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds as true declarations of our faith.  First Lutheran Church belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) East-Central Synod of Wisconsin.
